We had a wonderful experience! Particularly the volunteers and staff. Very helpful, courteous, and eager to tell people how great the park. We sensed a pride amongst them.Steve, the trolley driver was very knowledgeable and fun. Ashley in the c welcome center was gracious and knowledgeable about the park; again they had pride amongst them.The place is well cared for and clean.Great experience had by all.

Cute little park with a nice tram running through it. Very clean and well maintained .

This is the most amazing Park, check out the welcome center and see the story of how it all started. Then I suggest a ride on the tram to see he entire park, so much to see and do from the beautiful ground the butterfly house the nature center you will be simply amazed. Pet friendly watering locations in the park children’s play ground with misters . Hedge treehouse and even have a paddle in the spring. Voted number 1 park in the USA. When you’re done you can grab lunch at the Depot or an adult beverage and the bar on the second floor. Also the have an event center for weddings etc. check it out you won’t be disappointed…. And it’s very safe they have Polk County Sheriffs department on golf carts patrolling the park and parking lots ….. this is a cashless location …. Enjoy

We took two of our grandkids, ages 2 and 5, and had a really great day of outside fun. The park is well thought out with areas of shade, sunny fields, a range of playgrounds for young and older kids. It is large enough that we couldn’t see the whole park. We live 1.5 hours away and found it to be worth the drive. It is also a lovely place for adults without children to walk.
