Reviews
tripadvisorThis is an old motor lodge that’s been updated with new bathrooms, flooring, walls and furnishings. Although the room opened to the outside, it was quiet. We found our room clean, spacious and everything worked. The negatives were getting help with the TV, which could have been due to a language barrier, and the breakfast, which was awful. Coffee was undrinkable and food offerings skimpy and not appealing. Skip the breakfast.
MoreWhile on a college tour with my daughter, we had to leave this hotel due to serious safety issues. There was a huge, loud party on our floor, with many people coming and going, as if they were buying something and leaving. When I left out of fear, the hotel clerk on duty would not refund our reservation. YOU ARE WARNED, DO NOT STAY HERE.
MoreI loved my two-night stay here with my partner. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, helpful and personable. We shared lovely conversations and check-in and out was smooth and fast. Breakfast was delicious, they had the usual fruit, waffles, toast, bagel, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and cereal. In addition, they also had a hot food station with hash browns, bacon and scrambled eggs. Fabulous! Our room was on the third floor, and we requested a quiet room and got it! It was super clean and well-stocked with a microwave, mini fridge, desk, tv and bathtub. Our room had a beautiful view of the city. The hotel itself is in a short walking distance from many walker friendly areas, shops, restaurants, parks and even an ice skating square! If you walk a little more, you get to an amazing place for food and vibes with sooo many options called Salt City Market. One thing to note is that the corridor from your room to lobby, gym, or laundry is outdoors, so depending on the weather can be alarming. Like your hotel room door opens right outside to an hallway with a half wall (first floor has a gate above for safety) Other than that, this was very worth the incredibly affordable price and we had a lovely stay.
MoreBad policies and listed wrong, it shouldn't be listed as a hotel as it is a motel. Tried to get a refund based on improper listing and motel wouldn't honor refund based on listing it wrongly.
MoreGood deal for the money, staff very nice, no complaints. I needed to be near downtown so this place fit my needs. Breakfast a bit sparse but not an issue for me.
