What responsibilities do teachers have to students? We here at Seydo in Torrance believe the teacher's role is not only to teach but inspire, critique, motivate and encourage students so that they may achieve their goals. In order to gauge their success and struggle and track their progress, we believe that a one-on-one approach is the best suited for it. With a one-on-one approach, we can identify each student’s unique needs and create customized learning plans according to students' needs and preferences. Also, we have a math program (*Seydo system) that is based on the theory of Ebbinghaus forgetting curve and spacing effect to maximize retention and learning efficiency. Courses: 1) Essay Support Class - experienced instructors will work one-on-one with a student according to their needs. 2) College Admission Essay Class - experienced instructors will work with you to create an essay that will leave a lasting impression. 3) After-School Support Class We use the same textbooks used in local schools to help students with areas in which they are struggling. Also, assist students to establish good study habits so that they can finish their homework in a timely manner. 4) Free Online Class In order to support children who are having difficulty studying at their schools due to the effects of Corona, we offer free online classes as a volunteer activity. *Please note that availability is limited.
