I was very disappointed in our meal. Small servings and fairly tasteless. I understand the beer selection is great and the desserts were very good. But will not go back. The best part was our waitress was great!!!

We visited Two Stones off of 273 this past weekend. The old location in Newark used to be our favorite date night spot. We loved the charm and character. We always considered it a special little gem in Newark. The staff was friendly and food always great. The new location off of 273 has lost all of its authenticity and doesn’t feel special any more. The vibe is not only weird but unpleasant at times. We’ve tried to go back a few times but this past weekend was the last. The music went from hardcore rap from some dead rapper that the bartender was telling us about to screamer metal music. The service was lackluster. It was 9:20 and someone called for takeout. The bartenders were quick to say that they don’t take takeout orders after 9. Really? After being closed for 4 months you’re going to turn business away? And our favorite item, the Asian wings tasted different. It’s so disappointing. We will definitely not be back.

We plan our lunches to avoid the standard lunch crowd and always sit at the bar. Two Stones has a great selection of craft beers and other spirits. Their menu is very diverse with several “home made” items included. I can’t remember being disappointed with any of their offerings. The bonus is their personable and friendly staff, especially the bar staff. Give Two Stones a try and, if you like it, there are others nearby to enjoy!

Compliments to the chef and double dog entree! My husband and I did a sharing. We give the FOOD 2 thumbs up!!! Came for the food but... service??? The Belmont Stakes ran today... not one TV tuned until we asked... after the fact. Lack luster vibe from the hostess, to servers, to bar tenders. No smiles... no interaction...no attention! This was a day in sports to promote an event and have a vibe... flatlined for sure. Disappointed.

We have been wanting to go here for a while and luckily we stopped during their happy hour on Thursday. Good prices and the food was delicious. Service was good as well. Not your normal bar food. I had the dirty kettle chips. No room for dinner after that appetizer. Very nice selection. One bad thing is the do not have any domestic beers.
