Derek G Hartvigson is a 5th generation wood craftsman. He was raised in his father and grandfathers cabinet shops and went on to work in several different fields in the craftsman industry. From framing sheds to building doors and even finish carpentry. In 2016 Derek opened his first wood shop in Los Angeles, CA building paint grade built in entertainment centers, breakfast nooks and home/kitchen cabinets. Currently, he resides in Huntsville, Alabama and primarily focuses on building fine furniture and cabinetry.
