Sawyers Forestry Co. was founded in 2013 during the height of the California drought with the main objective of providing Santa Cruz and its neighboring communities a dedicated Wildfire Fuel Reduction service provider. All of our 'sawyers' have substantial experience in wild-land operations and extensive knowledge of Cal-fire Defensible Space & wildfire fuel reduction regulations. Our team is focused, knowledgeable and skilled with over 50 years of combined experience in Wildfire Fuel Reduction and Forestry work between our main operators. We have helped 100's of local property owners create Defensible Space and gain peace of mind. We strive to provide our clients with an efficient, low impact, and cost effective option to keep their homes and property as safe as possible from wildfire threats.
