Fine place to stay in the center of Boston. The styling in my room was pretty cool & contemporary. Renovated but adequate bathroom. I was rushing the day I was there so couldn’t really enjoy much more in one day. The only downside was it took 52 minutes for them to pull up my car for leaving. Steep price for the service.

It was our first stay at a Hotel AKA, and it won’t be our last! The hotel is in a fabulous location where you can step right out to the Freedom Trail, but also within just a couple of blocks to 4 different T lines. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylish, and the employees were friendly and helpful. If and when we come back to Boston, we would love to stay here!

Location, location, location! At the AKA, you’re in the center of so much Revolutionary history and near the major transportation hubs of the T line: Park St. is 3 minutes away, and Downtown Crossing is 6. Go across the street and see the graves of Paul Revere, Sam Adams, and more. Washington Street shopping is a block and a half away, and great pubs and restaurants are nearby.I had a really nice glass of Sangiovese right in the hotel’s a.bar, a great place to relax after walking the Freedom Trail. In house restaurant has great Mediterranean food, something I appreciated after eating fried fish, chips, and burgers at the pubs.My room was spotless, large for a city spot, and had an awesome Nespresso machine. The sundries were top-notch: I live the geranium body lotion. I had a Swedish-style leather recliner and ottoman, and a table for two with an excellent view of the skyline.I paid a steep price for fall foliage/Columbus Day holiday, but AKA was a good value for all of the above mentions. I’m coming back!

AKA Boston was on a prime location on Freedom Trail surrounded by history within easy walking distance. Rooms are large, quiet and has snacks and a stocked refrigerator for purchase if so inclined. The lobby bar has Rebecca, a talented mixologist, with excellent recommendations for restaurants along with the hotel's restaurant. Valet staff are so welcoming, helpful and efficient. Easy to recommend AKABoston.
