Cooper was entertaining and knowledgeable. He chose excellent tastes throughout the tour, and was kind and respectful of all of the different personalities on his tour

A food tour is always a great way to explore an area that is completely new to you. We enjoyed seeing Georgetown and hearing snippets of history and other information from our guide, Cooper, who was friendly and considerate throughout. The stops were varied and interesting. We really enjoyed the Chinese dumplings with secret soup inside. We were too full to eat our cup cakes (or, because they were huge, were known as cake cups!) We enjoyed those later in the day with a coffee. Thanks Cooper.

All of the food was exceptional and the entire experience was made especially enjoyable because of our tour guide, Matthew. He took us to great restaurants and shared his knowledge of the area along the way. I’d definitely go on this tour again!

Our walking tour started in the charming, brick-lined residential streets of Georgetown. Our guide Noam pointed out homes of current & past celebrities, including Julia Child’s darling yellow house. The food ranged from regional traditions like a half-smoke sausage at an artisan butcher shop, to hipster hummus & homemade pita (my husband’s favorite stop). We ended the tour with a lovely view of the Potomac & a park with a fountain. Noam pointed out lots of historical sites & was able to answer a range of questions. He also pointed out current sites like the Ritz-Carlton by the river & a vegan taco shop in a shady spot by the canal. I recommend adding on the beverage option bc we had the choice of full-on cocktails, beer & wine & even coffee drinks at the dessert spot. Overall a romantic walk through historic Georgetown (named after the King, not the President) with lots of great food & drink spots.
