The Coliseum celebrated its 100th anniversary a day of bands and dancing. I have been here for several dance events, fairs, and bridal events. The large palace with really high ceilings has a great acoustical setting, a large stage for band, entertainment, or a DJ. You can bring your own food and beverages to most events. they also sell waters, sodas, popcorn, and basic snacks. The huge dance floor is very inviting. Everything is wheelchair access with men's and women's restrooms on first floor and unisex restroom on the second floor, but the elevator is currently out of service. The first women's restroom is large and spacious with areas to sit and relax, and get away from the action.The balcony offers a different view of the main floor.Linda served as parking attendant, attentive to making sure wheelchair access and traffic patterns are observed.This is a great place for a catered event with capacity of 2,000. The lobby contains displays that review the history of the Coliseum by decades. Hands free access is available via app to open front door and by touch pad to open exit door. The parking Staff manages the flow of traffic well.
