Without a doubt, one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives. For music lovers and musical instrument enthusiasts, it’s a unique and unmissable experience.

This small store has a variety of cigar box guitars available for purchase, plus some DIY build kits. They also offer free lessons once a week. The guitars are handmade by the owner. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit when you're in the area.

If you enjoy music in any form you should stop in to see Jeff and Tara at a truly unique store. Very cool cigar box guitar designs, and price is very reasonable with a wide range of choices. You can truly feel the enthusiasm for music upon entering TCBGS; Jeff and Tara want to share the gift of music with all; they build confidence in beginners that regardless of your experience, you can make music and have fun doing it. Custom designs are unique and the guitars play great. Very cool cigar box guitar amps and steel can microphones also. So glad we took a Saturday day trip from TN! Make it a day and check out the other cool stores in Lowe’s Mill while you’re there. We appreciated the hospitality and left with an amazing resonator cigar boxes guitar and a cigar box amp as well. The guitar is beautiful, unique, and plays awesome!

We were so disappointed that this store wasn't open. It wasn't until we arrived in Huntsville that we realized it was inside Lowe Mill A&E, which is only open 11-7 Wednesday-Saturday. Lowe Mill is filled with individual artsy businesses, so we got there at 11 am. on Wednesday to find only a sparse few businesses open for business, including the cigar box guitar store. We REALLY wanted to check it out since it's so unique.

Very interesting visit! The guitars are unique, and Tara shared lots of great info, about both the guitars and the Huntsville area. We’re glad we stopped in.
