Eggspectation is a casual dining restaurant chain that offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. It is owned and operated by Eggspectation Restaurants, which is a Canadian restaurant company founded in 1993 in Montreal. The concept was expanded in 2002 when the first U.S. location opened in Ellicott City, Md., which included an expansive dinner menu and full-service coffee and beverage bar. Its menu features more than 160 food items, including appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, fish, omelets, pancakes, waffles, steaks and pasta, as well as a variety of egg and crepe dishes. The restaurant locations include various unique elements, such as colorful murals, rustic cement columns, stone and brick walls and an open kitchen with a dominant egg motif. The locations also have private meeting rooms that feature flat-screen television and presentation-ready technology.
