Working in elementary school grades K-6 for 18 years has allowed me to work with a wide range of students and ability levels ranging from regular education, special education, and gifted and talented. Having a reading specialist degree/ qualification has helped me advance my teaching and put emphasis on reading skills, writing skills, and math instruction for grade K-6.
