tripadvisorReally neat place and worth the price. Teens (ages 14-13-13) and young kids (ages 10-6) had a great time—making the lights move in some exhibits, working thru the mirrored mazes, listening to ‘secrets’ under the sound domes, recording their own ‘secrets’, being in the neon/blue light massive ball pit, etc. Adults had fun experiencing/‘doing’ the rooms themselves, watching kids, and marveling at the imaginativeness of the designers/artists. Go thru it or favorite rooms a couple times; you’ll ‘see’ it differently each time.
MoreDear hubs and I truly enjoyed our visit. We found easy street parking too! The facilities were great! We didn’t try any food or beverages but they looked great. The art installations were really remarkable! We’re senior citizens but people and kids of all ages were having a great time!
MoreTook my 11-year-old nephew to Hopscotch for a Portland adventure, and we all loved it. When we were there, a van full of folks from an assisted living facility arrived, and we wandered in and out of exhibits and installations with them. It was such a joy to see our young nephew engaging in activities parallel to elders - And it was clear that everyone was having an absolute ball! Hopscotch has created a very special universe, and we highly recommend being in its orbit if you have the chance!
MoreWhat a cool place to explore! One of the most unique art locations in Portland - full of murals, interactive art, and I love that you can take a beer/cocktail throughout the Gallery style (Vegas style!). They have great food and vegan options as well in the cafe. Would be a cool date night or rainy day spot 100%
MoreSuper fun time but it was a weird mix of adults and kids, felt like they couldn’t decide who they were marketing the experience to. Staff was pretty nice
