As part of the 'Silent Sunday's program at this wonderful venue was saw Charlie Chaplin's 'The Kid' World Renowned theatre organist, Ron Rhode, accompanied this silent film on the the beautiful theatre organ. The American Theatre Organ Society and Friends of the Orpheum Theatre made this event possible. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The security at the front door is ridiculous. Metal detectors and bag size requirements. Worse then TSA. It's humiliating to go through at a theatre. Ruins the whole experience. Too aggravated to enjoy the show.

Nice venue for live performances. I recently have the opportunity to experience Shen Yun. I like the location of this theater, but unfortunately, the seats are too small.(My tickets were for the balcony area.)This theater is full of details. I used an Uber to get to the theater, so I suggest checking their website. I am looking forward to more experiences at this theater.

I've been trying to do this tour for ages. We had the good fortune of getting tickets (free) for yesterday. What a treasure this building is. We heard the history and even had a performance on the 'little sister' wurlitzer organ. This tour was so professionally done and the docents were very personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

Saw Shen Yun. It was an amazing performance. Well worth the drive to downtown Phoenix from north Peoria.
