Integrated Bodywork Therapy (IBT) is an effective approach to healthcare that utilizes both manual and movement therapy. Functional and structural imbalance is addressed throughout the whole body, with the goal of helping each part work together as a whole. Layers of symptoms (e.g. pain, hindered mobility, numbness/reduced senses, fluid retention, etc.) are reduced or eliminated completely in the process. ​ IBT works for all age groups and various severities of client cases. The changes that occur in a session tend to stick since old movement patterns are retrained. To help reinforce the new movement patterns, the client is taught simple techniques to do at home. Every individual is uniquely different, thus every at-home plan is individualized.
