Stayed here for a football weekend. New building however ran into some issues. The electronic blinds in our room were non functioning. The HVAC in our room also seemed non functional. Incredibly loud room adjacent to Michigan Ave. The pool was warm and the breakfast was serviceable.

The Hotel and space was fine and expected but the staff at the desk were unwilling to do anything beyond picking up the phone! I accidently left a few shirts and coat in the closet and instead of running up and grabbing them so my daughter could come grab them they said I had to call back the next day because Housekeeping was gone for the day and now my clothes are gone!

Great MSU location in Lansing. Quiet, clean, super friendly staff and above and beyond fresh breakfast. Close to everything from airport to restaurants to campus

The room was extremely clean. Often, you'll find areas that could use a little more elbow grease, upon further inspection. However, this room (5th floor) was neat and clean. There is parking, however, I did not have a vehicle so I don't know the parking details. I would have liked to have been closer to campus but that's not the hotel's fault. The complementary breakfast was good - nice variety of foods. The cleanliness of the common areas stood out to me as well. Just another FYI for any out-of-town traveler - Ubers will not drive you to the airport!! Coming from NJ, this was a shock to me, so be prepared to have a rental vehicle or take the Michigan Flyer bus (my son had the vehicle for the school year).

Nice hotel aesthetics. The location is also very good as it is located near a plaza of different stores and eateries . They do not acknowledge you as being a Hyatt loyalty member which was disappointing, as it just adds a nice personal touch. The room was clean for the most part. The furniture had a newer modern type of vibe. The lamps were nice and had extra charging ports. The time X alarm clock also had extra ports. I was assigned an adjoining room, although I did not request one. I wasn’t staying with anyone, but there was an adjoining room and it had both the bolt lock and then the hotel security lock so it felt OK. The bed was comfortable. I wish they had a full mattress cover, instead of just a square padding that covered the middle of the mattress. It looked pretty clean. I didn’t see any stains on it. The only stain was like a black ink type of stain on the lower corner end. The bathroom was pretty clean. Overall I was satisfied with the room. The continental breakfast was better than I had expected. It was actually the best continental breakfast that I’ve had in all of my hotel stays, so kudos to Hyatt. The gym which is shared with the other conjoining hotel was very nice also. I did not partake in the bar or the dinner area so I cannot comment or review on the food or service there. So one main gripe I would say would be the parking. I think $14 a day for parking is a little steep, especially with the cost of the room itself. It should definitely be included. So would I stay again? I would.
