I had travelled to UTAH with my wife. We had a fantastic trip experience at UTAH. A very important aspect which makes your trip or mars your trip depends on your tour guide. We were lucky to have Mr. Shawn.We had booked an initial one day private car trip with him and we found he was very knowledgeable, friendly, easy going and helping in nature. The drive was very scenic. We had the half day trip to the three canyon scenic drive and the bird tram at one of the skiing resorts. He also suggested some good food options at the top of the Tram station stop. Since it started snowing, the view outside was not great. He suggested that he would be fine to return the money for the bird tram section, though we refused. He stopped at,as many places as we wanted to and he took several photos without any hesitation or sulking. He also suggested locations best suited for photography and took photographs in such locations. We were planning to visit the Bryce Canyon, Arches and the Dead horse point. Most tour operators arrange the canyon trips in UTAH starting from Las Vegas. We could find only one local company that arranges local day trips to Bryce and Arches on two separate individual consecutive days without an overnight stay. My cousin in Sanfrancisco suggested such day trips will be tiresome and one cannot make two such trips on subsequent days. After the trip, We also would not encourage anyone to plan day trips unless if there is only one day available for you. Fortunately, we asked Shawn, if he could take us to Bryce, Arches and the Dead horse point. He requested time to decide and that night he confirmed that he will be able to take us. He made all the bookings for the hotel and places. It was one of the fantastic trips that we had travelled. The choice of hotels was great. We covered Bryce Canyon on day one, stayed overnight at Moab at Ruby’s inn. The ambience and food was great. We travelled to the dead horse point and we stayed overnight in nearby hotel. Next day we left for the Arches early in the morning. We did the trekking to the delicate arch first when it was less sunny and we were able to then see most of the other arches. He let us take our time to do the trekking at our own pace. Shawn took a lot of great photos through out this private trip. His car also had a partial glass top and we could enjoy panoramic views even while in the car. Though we had not asked for Canyon lands, he drove through some part if it One of the best drives that he took us while returning was through route 12 and 24. It was one of the most memorable road trips with the landscape changing every 10-15 min for 3-4 hrs. Undoubtedly, UTAH is an amazing place where Mother Nature has carved mountains and rock formations in different colours and shapes that one can never ever imagine. We many times felt that we were on a different planet! Never seen such unique landscapes before! Such is the beauty of Mother Nature’s creation! We enjoyed some great car music through out the trip. Shawn asked us and played music according to our interest. UTAH is an amazing place to visit and glad that We had Shawn with us for the trip which made things much easier so that we could focus on just enjoying the journey and the scenic spots. During one of the half day trips with another tour operator on an earlier date, we left our phone charger in their car. Since they were occupied for the rest of the next few days, they were unable to drop the charger at one of the hotels that we had requested them to hand it over. However, after we had left UTAH, Shawn had collected it in on our behalf from them and later couriered to my friend in US. We really appreciate his help. We will give a 10/10 for the BEUTAHFUL tours for the trip and 10/10 for Shawn as a fantastic tour guide and we highly recommend private car trips with him.
