A last minute decision for a cruise on the Matanzas. Rented the Bennington pontoon boat for a couple of hours docked at Genung’s Fish Camp which was conveniently a block from where we were staying in Crescent Beach. Adam got us on board and went over all the boat operations and river navigation tips. We first headed south past Fort Matanzas to the ocean inlet then back north towards the city. Took a picnic lunch that we enjoyed along the way as there are plenty of sandbars outside the river channel to beach the boat. Had to fight the current and wind getting under the bridge and into the protected dock but made it successfully. Next time we will get a boat from their city dock location to explore that part of the river. Highly recommended as Emily was a pleasure dealing with over the phone.

This company is absolutely fantastic. Really nice owners and captains. They also conveniently keep boats at two separate locations in both Saint Augustine and Crescent Beach. I'm local, and I will absolutely be renting from them again and again.
