The night before we stayed at a hotel that was quite frankly a dump, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels all around the world and this is the first time that I can remember not being thanked for being an elite member. And then they said, Okay we're going to have to downgrade your room because we're overbooked on King beds. No I'm sorry. Certainly no I like to offer you a complimentary...Come on AC hotel train your staff better.

Great Hotel! Welcoming lobby, with a nice little connected bar, friendly and helpful front desk staff, ample parking, and a nice circle driveway up front for loading and unloading luggage. Regarding the room; it was spacious & clean, the bed was comfortable, having a fridge and coffee maker was an added touch and the shower had lots of pressure and the rain shower head was top notch! Would stay her again without hesitation!

Stayed here with a group of 8 others. This is a newer hotel that is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are modern and the overall layout is great. The only negative would be the $14 fee for parking in an outdoor lot. The staff at this hotel really exceeded expectations - Lucas and Eli at the front desk were great, and very helpful!

I came here for a two night stay with my 10 year old son. We were in town to see the MSU basketball game on a sunday afternoon. The hotel is very new, 3 years old, and it has been well maintained since. The breakfast was very good by hotel breakfast standards. The woman who worked there, I can't remember her name, was super friendly and attentive. She made my son waffles both mornings. The location of the hotel is great as we walked to the Breslin center for the game without issue. The king suite was huge, and it was more than enough room for my son and I.

Pros & Cons, for sure. But heavy on the pro side. Let me tell you, this was the best hotel shower I think I’ve ever had. The water pressure, the rainfall head, the 2nd handheld shower head, huge shower with glass door instead of a gross curtain touching you… I swear I took a 45 min Level 5 shower! The room was clean and large, the bed was comfy, loved having a couch, and we had plenty of towels. Walkable to several restaurants. Very safe area that is basically on the MSU campus. The hotel is not pet friendly, which is a plus, as we have a dog allergy in the family, but I’m certain we heard a dog barking on the 4th floor. Evening staff was kind and gave restaurant recommendations. Morning staff never acknowledged us as we left. Cons: parking $14/night for a sunken lot that is not secure and seems to be free if you’re there for the restaurants next door and the assisted living facility nearby, so I’m unsure of how anyone knows what you’re actually parking in that lot for. Free parking on weekends in the street spots that surround the hotel and are much closer (this is where we parking directly in front of the hotel). $18 breakfast (did not utilize, so I can’t comment on if that price is worth the offerings). We may try Hyatt House (connected) next time we are in town.
