I did the ocean to bay tour in Virginia. The ride was beautiful on quiet roads with beautiful scenery. I loved the way Sharon arranged the tour so we only changed hotels twice. Our hotel in Chincoteague had beautiful views of the water. Sag stops and lunch stops were well supplied with great options. We ate dinners at delicious restaurants with seafood and Italian choices. Sharon did her best to rearrange our rides so we didn't have to ride in the rain. This is the second time I used magical mystery bike tours. The first time was the Greenbriar trail last fall. It was a very well run tour also and a beautiful trail!

Sharon's trips are like traveling with a family! I recently did my second trip with her and many of the participants were also alumnis of her trips. This to me says all you need to know about Sharon and her trips! She carefully plans and researches all routes, the historical sites, landmarks, and any potential attractions we might want to see. Her support van is stocked with any potential tool for supply we could need. The van also provides plenty of room for group members to bring what they need on the trip. The passenger van is also roomy and comfortable. Sharon's goals is to make this experience the best it can be. She has alternatives in mind in the event of poor weather conditions. On our recent trip to Virginia Beach, we had unexpected headwinds of 30 - 40 mph. Almost everyone had an e-bike. I did not and those headwinds made the ride very challenging. Sharon decided an e-bike would be much better for me and provided one without asking for the normal fee that she charges for a rental. I highly recommend MagicalMysteryBikeTours for your next tour.

My husband and I did a 3 day bike trip on the Greenbrier Trail with MMBT in June 2025. We met the group on Wed night in Lewisburg. Thursday we shuttled to Case RR area with a stop at the Greenbank Observatory which was fantastic and so educational. We started our ride (all downhill from Cass) after lunch and finished our first day in Marlinton, WV where we spent the night. Awesome pizza and beer at Alfredo's. The 2nd day was riding from Marlinton to Renick, our longest day. It was warm but comfortable with stops along the way to read the historical signs and dip our feet in the cool waters of the Greenbrier Trail. The final day we rode from Renick to Caldwell. A little rain did not hamper our spirits and was actually quite refreshing.I would recommend MMBT if you are interested in riding the complete 78 miles of the Greenbrier Trail with a well supported team. A mechanic rode along with us in case there were any problems. Fortunately, we had no problems in the 3 day ride. There are also 2 tunnels on the trail which are fun. There is virtually no cell service for most of the ride. In Marlinton and Lewisburg there was cell service but spotty or non-existent in other areas.Lewisburg is a lovely small town and we had several wonderful meals in town at local restaurants. The riding pace was relaxed at an average of 10-12 mph. Slower or faster is fine too and the leadership allows for you to ride at your own pace. We used our pedal bikes but MMBT allows e-bikes. No one is left behind. There were rest/snack breaks each day of riding.This trail has been on our bucket list and it did not disappoint. Plenty of shade for warmer days and plenty of wildlife to see along the way. The river was beautiful. The scenery must be spectacular in the fall when the leaves change.The trail surface is well maintained with 2 single tracks. The tracks are wide but could be difficult for a trike rider. Beautiful bridges.On our own we visited Lost World Caverns. We also visited The Greenbrier and did the Bunker tour which is not to be missed.

The Greenbrier Trail cycling trip was well run, had absolutely gorgeous views, and the cycling was on the gentle trail. Loved the tiny towns, the old depots, and all the railroad history along the way! Spectacular wild life sightings were the highlight!

This is my second but not my last tour with MMBT.Both tours have been fantastic and better than competitively priced. Also, I have a recumbent trike. Finding a tour that accepts this type of bike is difficult. Sharon is a fantastic host and very logistically minded. She is oriented towards planning trips to help us really appreciate the places we are visiting,and her itinerary is varied. We just finished the Bay to Ocean. Loved it! I just arrived home last night from this tour.Besides riding our bikes, we also did 2 boat tours. I enjoyed the places we stayed , and the food was fabulous. Coming from Ohio, I really focused on seafood. The bike rides were lovely and very doable. The SAG support is ever present. You are not alone. Very well organized. Great groups of people. Sharon's tours are impeccably planned, and her support crew is very professional. I love riding with Sharon! This is her small business, and it is very personal to her. She wants to make sure everyone has a wonderful experience. And, she is geared towards supporting other small businesses .My first tour was the Greenbrier last October. Awesome trail!
