Only who is well traveled should come here. Someone who looks at world from a very different angle. Only that person will find the tombstones here of any interest.

Make this your first stop in Virginia City. It is on top of a hill where you can see the whole town & plan your town visit. The grave markers are also interesting.

There are great views of Virginia City and the surrounding area from there. And it is historically significant, but we were not interested in spending a lot of time there.

Kids had a good time seeing how people lived and worked years ago. We had a ride on a small train, got to see lots of old buildings and how people would mine for gold. We also went up to Boot Hill.

We had fun looking at the grave markers. The little mouse graves were hilarious. Very windy and it’s a dirt drive way. Be prepared to eat some dust. The town was cool. Came off peak season so most things were closed. I do like cheesy stuff if it’s cool. If you’re in the area...stop in. But only during their peak season.
