tripadvisorIt was a frequent flyer on Brightline from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale and back and sometimes to Boca. When Brightline first class was first introduced, it was great wine snacks that were all of decent quality unfortunately, I’m going to have to leave right line under your pressure of profitability. Wine has been reduced or removed. Snacks are worse than from a vending machine, typically of a railroad they have a good thing, but under the pressure of more profitability, they screw it up in Brightline has done this in spades. First class is not worth a penny over Coach. Have no idea why Senior management thinks they can take a first class experience and reduce it to Cattle car and think people continue to smile. I am several other business friends have watched this downgrade continue now is going to quit Brightline. Great concept very poorly managed.
MoreMy cousin and I had the pleasure of experiencing the Brightline from Boca to Miami round trip in their Premium Class. Of course, we did not know what to expect but it truly exceeded our expectations. The entire station and train were immaculate. Premium Class ticket well worth the price as you pick your seats, experience the lounge with beverages, alcoholic and non- alcoholic selections as well as a Lavazza machine in Boca which made fantastic cappuccino all complimentary with Premium ticket. The seats on the train were comfortable and spacious, and the bathrooms are very well designed to accommodate a wheelchair. They also serve drinks on the train as well as a wide variety of snacks, also complimentary. Upon our return from Miami back to Boca, we left earlier and the lounge offered a selection of meats, cheese, quiche, potatoes, bagels, breads etc. They had a different Lavazza machine in Miami, and this one did not make a good cappuccino like Boca. It was also easy to change our return ticket as well as we were originally slated to leave later in the day. All in all, we were extremely impressed with the service that Brightline offers, and we are now planning day trips and will use Brightline again and again. All their employees show great customer service.
MoreMy wife and I were booked on a Brightline train from Miami to Boca Raton December 28, 2024. After negotiating the challenging multilevel station, we were allowed to board about 20 minutes late and then after sitting on the train about an hour after the scheduled departure, we were told that there was a problem with another train ahead of us. We left the train once we learned from news sources that the train ahead of us was involved in a serious accident in Delray Beach, FL. We went back downstairs to the reservation desk where we were issued a credit for our trip and a second reservation December 30 back to Ft. Lauderdale. I am writing because Brightline only issues credits which we can't use. We live in St. Louis, MO and have no intention of returning to the Brightline service area but Brightline would like to keep all of our credits. They are hard to reach by phone or email but continue to respond that they only issue credits (good for one year) and not actual refunds.
MoreMy mother rode from Orlando and couldn’t get off in Boca because no one would help her get her luggage down from the upper compartment. So she had to ride the train to Ft Lauderdale before someone would help her. Service for older people was very poor.
MoreGreat experienceBUT lots of employees and train contractors in 1 class lounge eating and taking stuff. Employees neutral attitude
