Went to get work done by artist “Chino”. Most of his Black and Grey work online looked good. I asked multiple times about his color work and was assured he had the skills and was capable. I was misled. He had never done a piece in color, let alone one as large as the one he did on my leg.While the rest of his B&G (black and grey) was decent, his color work is atrocious. The lines don’t add up, details were missing, the coloring did not match the vision I shared with him, the coloring and transitions are completely off.There’s no amount of “touch ups” that will fix this leg work. It is dark when I asked for bright and colorful. Now that the scabbing is complete, it looks like a 20 year old tattoo, with many errors. The equivalent of giving a 10 year old a tattoo machine and letting him go to work on your skin.While it may have looked decent when the ink was fresh, now just a few weeks later, many parts are faded and disgusting.Avoid any color work with this man, he’s only been tattooing for a couple years, you wouldn’t want something that is supposed to be for life, to be performed by this individual. Some parts look like they were drawn outside the lines so to speak.He also dragged the sessions out past the 3 days he agreed to, a leg piece which would have taken an experienced artist 3 sessions. I was there for 8 hours a day or longer. I will be lazering off what I can and having it reworked by an experienced artist to fix. AVOID THIS ARTIST AND HIS WORK.
