tripadvisorAs long-time residents of the Seattle area it was a fun experience to see some of the neighborhoods in a different and more intimate way. David was clear and entertaining, and it was great to have some short stops along the way. The van was fun and comfortable and the driver did a great job navigating some of the rough roads along the way. The only improvement our group of seniors would recommend would be to find a way to mute the occasional loud rattling of the wheelchair ramp.
MoreWhat a great tour! I've driven by Henry murals in Seattle for more than a decade, but now I see them in a whole new way! Hearing the stories behind the art is fascinating and I saw a few I hadn't seen before. Whether you're a local or a visitor, you'll love this tour. Plenty of art to see, plus history, refreshment and restroom stops, a visit to the artist's store, and a comfy tour bus that's wheelchair accessible.
MoreThis is a really fun tour for all ages. My daughter is 5 and she had a blast. Henry murals are whimsical, bright, and happy! There were fun pit stops along the way--a brewery, a pub, the Henry art storefront and a P-patch...all boasting Henry Murals. The tour guide, David, was friendly, well-informed, helpful, and kept us interested the entire time with detailed stories of Henry's process and growth. I recommend this tour for a unique, local Seattle experience.
MoreWe live in Seattle and are always enjoying the murals by Ryan Henry Ward around our neighborhood. When we spotted the bus one day, we knew we needed to do this! What a fun way to explore our own neighborhood and learn more about the murals and the artist. The bus took us around Ballard, Fremont, Queen Anne, and Seattle neighborhoods, learning some history, and of course, more about the art. Some stops included the Queen Anne Community Center, a pea patch garden and the Flatstick Pub (which has 3D sculptures of the characters featured in the murals). We even got to meet Henry himself! This is probably not always an option, though, depending on what projects he is working on that day.Roman was an excellent tour guide. Professional and fun! There are several stops for getting out and walking around -- and restrooms.Highly recommended for both locals and tourists.
