My name is Raziel Gonzalez and I teach guitar lessons based in the practice of Body Mapping for all levels and styles. I have a Bachelor's of Music Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where I studied with Sergio Assad and Lawrence Ferrara. I also studied with Tilman Hoppstock at the Akademie für Tonkunst in Darmstadt, Germany and have taken lessons from Pepe Romero, Grisha Goryachev, Marc Teicholz, and many more. As a registered trainee Licensed Body Mapping Educator with the Association of Body Mapping Education, I bring a unique and new approach to understanding not only the guitar, but also our body and how we use it when approaching the instrument. We do this by correcting and refining one's "body map" (one's physical self representation in the brain) to develop the ability to move freely and efficiently. Guitar is tough! We should seek to make it as easy as we can. You pick the style of music you'd like to play, I'll be in charge of establishing a strong technical foundation, a healthy and productive practice routine both mentally and physically, and help you achieve all of your goals when it comes to the guitar.
