This "Art Study Program" offers the technical side of visual communication, the way art used to be taught for centuries. Paradoxically, once we have these technical skills, we can “let go” of trying to “do" art, and allow what is fresh and natural and authentic to emerge. Great artwork is the result of mastering these skills, and then getting the head out of the way, and letting the heart take over."

I enjoy Elizabeth's teaching style. She's quick to share her experience and knowledge and I'm learning so much from her sketching and tone series of classes.
