*In-person only* math & physics tutoring for 5-12 grades including all AP pre-calculus and calculus classes. My teaching concentrates on developing problem-solving skills and avoiding excessive memorization. I do not believe in the teaching approach "do as I said." My philosophy is to teach each student how to analyze the problem first and technique comes second. I worked as a system design engineer and chief laser scientist for Silicon Valley companies for more 30 years. I have a PHD degree in Physics from the University in Russia.
