The name implies that the museum covers the history of the whole Red River valley. This is not the case. The museum only covers the Shelley area. Hours are very limited unless you call in advance so someone can open the museum for you. The building is the former Shelly school. There is much to see here. The trophy room probably would be of most interest to locals featuring awards for the local sports teams. There are several looms. A military room has uniforms from wars back to the Civil War.
