In 1985 I began detailing boats and cars in Northern Michigan. I moved to Clearwater in 1988 and opened the doors to the original Magicar on Gulf To Bay Blvd. in 1989. I then moved on to open a boat detailing business called Immaculate Boat and came back to buy Magicar in 1992. Over the next two decades Magicar employed up to 70 employees at two Mercedes dealerships, as well as Jaguar, Infiniti, Cadillac, Land Rover, Ferrari, Indian Motorcycle, Chevrolet, and Mazda. I eventually sold Magicar and moved back to Michigan to raise my sons closer to family. The original location’s property was sold and repurposed in 2006. Between 2010 - and its closing, Magicar went through 3 owners on Myrtle Avenue. Since my return to Clearwater, I managed detail departments at Porsche, BMW, Cadillac, Rolls Royce, Bentley, McClaren, Aston Martin, Mercedes, and Infiniti. I also had the pleasure of being on-call with Ferrari during those times. Thanks to all that, I was then able to come full circle here and open another Magicar located right in the middle of the first two. Come see us for our best work. We offer Ceramic Coating, Silicone-based Coating, Wraps, Paint Protective Film (PPF), Window Tinting, Detailing, Dent Removal, Leather Repair, and our Famous Hand Car Wash.
