tripadvisorFrom the heart, not AI:My wife and I attended Heirloom Springs 3 day Farm To Table Pilates co-ed retreat in April 2026. Set on a 67 acre organic farm and half a mountain/hillside in a bucolic valley in rural Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 12 of us got to experience what turned out to be a super-natural reset of body, mind & spirit in a very well organized and fun event. Owner/instructor Rachael, instructor Grace, Chef Christine and their talented, warm & supporting staff have created an environment filled with great organic foods, great workouts, and a real back-to-nature experience - with pleasant & comfortable accommodations at the Elston Inn in Sweet Briar College about 20 min away.In their Classical Pilates & Yoga workouts, somehow Rachael & Grace managed to accommodate a very wide range of attendees ranging from me, a guy with no Pilates history, to seasoned Pilates instructors with ages from 20’s to almost 80. I came away fitter and with fewer aches & rehab issues. Well done! Socializing with this interesting group was joyful. While Heirloom Springs’ remoteness can make travel challenging, that same remoteness helps create a mind/body experience you simply can’t get in a less rural environment. So meeting this logistical challenge is well worth it. I cannot recommend Heirloom Springs and this experience highly enough.
