Nestled along the Gambrill Park Road within the verdant environs of the Gambrill State Park, the South Frederick Overlook offers stunning views of the park's pristine landscapes. Visitors can either choose to take a leisurely walk to the overlook or drive all the way to the site, past the park's visitor center. Besides offering panoramic vistas of the park, the well-maintained sites also provides interesting information about the Civil Conservation Corps (CCC). Visitors can also enjoy a picnic here.
