tripadvisorIt was a nice, but short and expensive experience.
MoreWent here for the new 'Maestros and the Machines' exhibit with my family including my kids 9 and 12 years old - everyone absolutely loved it. We've been to NYC several times and were looking for something different and we all agreed this was the highlight of our long weekend in NYC. We went early on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too crowded. Great location as well downtown near the Oculus mall and the Ground Zero memorial
MoreTruly lame and not worth more than $15 per person. We spent $140 holy shiteballs! 10 flavors of infinity rooms. Who cares?! It’s as if a bunch of pretentious artist got together and think their work is so hot if it’s surrounded by mirrors. Go there stoned maybe you’ll have more fun. But probably not.
MoreWe went to Mercer Labs in December 2024 to see the Limitless exhibition; the best way I can describe it is an exhibition that showcases art created by modern visual and audio technology. There is a total a 15 rooms and each room contains a different exhibit; you can spend as much time in each room as you wish and as a bare minimum I suggest 15-20 minutes per room. My wife and I really enjoyed it but before you book please visit Mercer Lab's website and read about the exhibition then decide whether it's something for you or not.
MoreLoved it!! Great signage outside the building, Easy flow of traffic in the lobby, Helpful kind staff. Mostly self guided experience through about 15 rooms over 3 levels. Each room had different moving images that were absolutely works of art. And, it was beyond the sights.. it was the sounds, the smells, the air quality, the shapes and sizes of the rooms.. completely immersive. I’m a fan. I would pay the same price to go again. I wish the gift shop had a book all about each exhibit and the artist. I have some STEAM students and co-workers that would appreciate it.
