Great get away built in 1928 Boutique Hotel, Myranda & Peter made, my wife and myself feel specialThanks

Although what appears to be a nice hotel there are concerns with staying here.Upon checkout I left my AirPods in the hotel at which point when I went back to retrieve not only were they not able to be found but all the sudden I could no longer connect to them. When I brought this concern up to Myranda is hard to be able to communicate my point as she continued to talk over me until I asked to be heard. While I will buy a new pair the way I struggled to be heard and my items coming up missing leads me to believe this is not the place for me or my family.Beware of talking manager with any concerns, and safe guard your items here.

This amazing property is the result of an extensive remodel of a century old Elks Lodge. My room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant or any food service. The rooms don't have coffee makers and the coffee in lobby is lukewarm because it is put in a large non-insulated dispenser. The heating system in my room was unusually loud and annoying.

Hotel San Buena is such a gem in Ventura, one of the only boutique and luxe hotels in the area! We were greeted with such hospitality by all the staff; Jonathan was so helpful at valet and in helping up get to our room with all our luggage (with two rowdy kids!). He was so patient and accommodating, it was really appreciated. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and decorated with a great mix of chic updates and historical charm. Can't wait to be back!

Do not expect to have a confirmed reservation honored here! My husband wanted to treat me to a stay at the Hotel San Buena. We were excited to pull up to the property and be welcomed warmly. We had a confirmed reservation, but apparently they had canceled it due to a couple buying out the property for a wedding! I’ve worked in the hotel 30 years, and to not have communication confirmation we knew this was the situation is just wrong. Someone dropped the ball here. To add insult to injury, the lack of goodwill was a gut punch. To say, “We are so sorry.” Several times does not make up for our disappointment and added aggravation we endured to drive to a new hotel.
