It is a relatively recent skill in our evolutionary timeline, and not all brains have fully adapted to the intricacies of decoding symbols and processing written language. I've been dedicated to supporting students who face reading challenges and their families as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, instructional advisor, and MTSS coordinator.
