Professor Lopez is a 3rd degree black belt under Master John Machado. He leads every class and will be with you every step of the way. Professor Lopez teaches with the same mentality, technique and skillset as the Machados. He teaches everyone as a black belt, regardless of experience. He doesn’t believe in ego. Like the Machado, he asks that his students leave their ego at the door. The goal here is to learn WITH each other. We are a team. It is not the goal to beat and smash your teammates.
