









Established in 1947, the Richardson Public Library has a more than 80,000- square-foot facility. The library has a collection of electronic databases for research. Its history collection includes historical photographs of people and places, clipping files, scrapbooks, slides, high school year books, maps, and budgets and annual reports of the city of Richardson. Richardson Public Library also offers a variety of investment materials, job-searching resources, and general company and industry information. Additionally, it offers law resources, magazines, newspapers, medical and health information, and videos, DVDs, CDs and tapes to public. The library hosts several special programs that include books and babies, family game night and family storytime for children and their families.
