This was the worst Hilton that I have stayed at in all of my years. The main concern was that the tip amount was fraudulently change from the 20% I left to almost 50% on my final bill. The rooms are tired & old. My room did not have Wifi. I asked 4 times, & they eventually sent a tech who said I was too far from the access points. The evening meal was inedible as it was so tough. The breakfast had brown pineapple on the fresh fruit bowl. They said they would counsel whoever was responsible for the theft, but how often does this occur. The agreed to upgrade my on the final evening when I was leaving early the next morning. I am a Lifetime Diamond Hilton member. I repeatedly asked for the GM of the Hotel to call me. No answer yet. The finally refunded the breakfast & gave me some points to go away. Hilton won’t help me as it is a franchise. Be warned -don’t stay here.

This Double Tree Hotel by the Minneapolis airport has a very attitude night employee his name David, he's a kind of rude and disrespectful, he doesn't not qualify to be a desk employee person because he talks the hotel is his own house and charge like he's working in his house, this is a hotel of business to everyone who wants to come in and get welcomed, I'm way far warned to the guest want to enter the hotel please don't go and see this guy has named David because he's disrespectful and unprofessional employee.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was hands-down the worst hotel experience I have ever had, featuring a complete breakdown of basic housekeeping, property maintenance, and guest safety.Here is what I encountered during my stay:* Live Pests: Found multiple spiders inside the room.* Severe Slip Hazard: The carpet edge in the entryway is completely unravelling, and an uncleaned greasy residue left by a previous guest was on the floor, causing me to slip twice.* Active Leaks & Severe Moisture Damage: The bathroom fan was inoperable, causing extreme condensation that dripped down the headboard right above where I slept, streamed down artwork, and fogged the entire room. There was an active plumbing leak under the vanity pooling dark brown liquid on the floor, alongside distinct wall discoloration and water damage right under the HVAC intake vent that points to moisture buildup and potential mold growth.* Poor Maintenance & Subpar Housekeeping: The HVAC vent intake was caked in thick, heavy dust, recirculating dirty air throughout the room. On top of that, the tub drain wouldn't clear water properly, the tub lining was peeling, and sloppy paint splatters (including on the shower curtain and bathroom tiles) were left behind.Renting out a room with active plumbing leaks, potential mold risks, safety hazards, and pests is completely unacceptable. Management needs to address these severe health and safety issues immediately.

We stayed for a total of 7 nights at this hotel and returned for one more night a week later. The hotel was chosen by organizers of a convention we participated in and it was a good choice for that event. We stayed a few extra days before the convention to sightsee in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. If touring these cities is your primary reason for staying in the area, this hotel is located about the same distance from each, about 10 miles. It is within easy walking distance of the Mall of America which has many restaurants and different stores. The hotel has a free shuttle that runs between the airport and the hotel and Mall of America and the hotel. All the personnel was always most helpful and pleasant. The rooms very comfortable and had very nice down comforters. The hotel has elevators and a large parking lot. Maid service was efficient. We were satisfied with our stay here.

Excessively reduced shuttle service to the airport. We arrived and had to wait an hour to be dropped off at the airport so we took an uber instead. We definitely are not returning to park here. Also further away from the airport than most other places at least 20 minutes.
