Stayed at this location for a fall conference with colleagues from across Iowa, this month. We have chosen this facility to stay at for several years now. Always impressed with the large open lounge area and the outside patio. The hotel is always very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. They also serve a very generous hot breakfast with options to meet everyone's wants and needs. Would recommend, 10/10!

Shortly after check-in, we found our refrigerator without power. The desk clerk said a breaker had tripped, reset it, and power was restored. I viewed it as a minor issue that had been resolved.Unfortunately, the circuit serving our room’s outlets failed twice more overnight. I use a BiPAP for sleep apnea and awoke at 1:30 a.m. and again at 3:45 a.m. because the power had failed and my machine shut off.More concerning, it became clear this was a known problem. Two different employees acknowledged that breakers had been repeatedly tripping, and the overnight clerk was already monitoring them.The staff was friendly and quickly restored power each time, but a hotel should not rent a room with a known recurring electrical problem. For someone relying on powered medical equipment, this goes beyond inconvenience and becomes a safety concern.I was told at checkout that a manager would contact me. Four days later, I’ve heard nothing.

They gave our room away and the person at the front desk was terrible and should not be in customer service. No apology and no attempt to help us find another room. The only thing we were told is,”there are other hotels 3 miles away.”

Nice, clean newer hotel in a nice area with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Two people make this a special place to stay. Ramona at the desk and Adela the bartender. Great hotel and great service. These two are wonderful people and make your stay pleasant!
