tripadvisormy husband and two young sons went into the big bear scavenger hunt and it was perfect and the weather was beautiful. the little walk was nice and our end location was amazing. we can't wait to do another one! job well done guys!
MoreUPDATED: changing my 2 star not worth it review because since my first review Amazoingco reached out and made a very solid effort to rectify our poor first experience. They reimbursed us for additional costs from last time and offered us to redo the picnic experience completely. We chose to do a different location and the experience was definitely better. There were no planning or operational issues this time and in general the walk route and stops were nice. I've added one additional star for the improved experience and one more for the customer service and the effort put into to reaching out and offering to make things right by us. The picnic experience without any mishaps or organizational issues is probably a 3/5 but the company did try very hard to ensure our experience was good, and it was really appreciated that they let us have a redo and we had a really nice family day with minimal stress this time around. So 4/5 in the end.
MoreWe received a voucher from a friend for this and decided to try North Vancouver. We were excited to see where it would take us and what new undiscovered places we’d find. Sadly the experience was very underwhelming. We were only sent to 3 locations for food, 2 of which we had been to before. The picnic location was also the biggest tourist hot spot. There was barely anything about the itinerary that was artisanal, boutique, new or exciting. The clues felt more tedious than challenging. They were generally quite simple once you understood what they were asking, but the instructions and logic weren’t always explained clearly. It often felt like the difficulty came from deciphering how the clue was supposed to work rather than actually solving it.To top that off the food we were given was very average. Some bread and hummus, a ham and cheese croissant, small dessert square, bottle of water and a tofu salad. The whole experience felt like a waste of time and money.
MoreWe recently completed the Big Bear AmazingCo food scavenger hunt. This is the third time we have used this company. We loved our entire adventure, so did our dog. We enjoy solving clues, finding locations, and getting visiting locations might normally not. We ended up with enough food for lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend Big Bear as a location.
MoreCute idea, but poor execution. My husband and I did the mystery picnic in Elora, Ontario. The clues were fun, but the food was a giant disappointment. There were dozens of nice places they could have sent us to pick out food - but the quality and quantity of the food we got was underwhelming at best (and we are not big eaters). Poor value for my money.
