Our friends are super fun and amazing and made the night worthwhile. Otherwise, the trolley experience stunk. Stink. Stank. Stunk. Nothing was as advertised. No trivia, no prizes, nothing special that you couldn’t get doing an uber or a rental for the night. Would never do again with this operation. Would definitely do again with our friends!!!

Here’s a more polished and punchy version:A few months ago, we rallied 28 friends, brimming with holiday spirit (and BYOB enthusiasm), and boarded the holiday trolley for a night of trivia, prizes, and festive fun. Or so we thought.Enter Kaley, our guide, who started strong with one fascinating fact: “Pittsburgh has the most bridges in the world.” Impressive, right? We buckled up for more fun facts, trivia challenges, and holiday cheer. But after that one fact? Radio silence.Kaley spent the rest of the ride glued to her phone, scrolling like she was on a mission to solve world hunger—or maybe just find the best meme of the day. The only time we heard from her again was when she hollered at us to be back on time. No trivia, no prizes, no carols, no vibes. At the last bar, we talked to folks from other trolleys, and the difference was staggering. They had guides leading trivia, giving out prizes, hosting karaoke, and singing Christmas carols. Meanwhile, our trolley had turned into a BYOB waiting room. And then, the grand finale: when we got back on the trolley, Kaley was gone. Vanished. She ghosted us, leaving the driver to finish the tour solo (shoutout to him, by the way, for being courteous and getting us home safely). We paid for a festive experience but got a glorified shuttle ride instead. Sure, we didn’t sign up just for the trivia and prizes, but they were part of the package—and it’s hard not to feel shortchanged when other groups were having a blast.
