Biking trail from downtown St Paul out to Crosby Farm Regional Park overlooking the Mississippi River. The portion through downtown and just south of the city is interesting with good views of the Mississippi River and High Bridge. Less interesting as you continue south as the trail runs along busy Shepherd Road. Trail is also rough in parts. There are nice hiking trails at Crosby Farm and a hidden overlook just off the trail where you can view Pike Island which is at the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. You can also bike a trail across I-35 and turn this into a loop connecting to the Big Rivers Trail that connects Mendota to downtown St Paul along the opposite bank of the river. I find the Big Rivers Trail a much more enjoyable ride.
