We booked with Seacow safaris at the last minute as we had inadvertently booked thru Viator on the wrong day which we then cancelled. We were recommended to go with Mac who was available and he picked us up within an hour. The trip was very good, Mac is a very enthusiastic young man who loves his job. Captain Mac, Sarah and Oakly took us out on the Crystal River and it was a magical day. Our captain found some manatees. The resident momma manatee and her calf was a special treat. I had never seen a manatee and it was an incredible moment when Captain Mac took my hand and guided me to see her under water at a respectful distance of course. We went to several beautiful springs as well. Captain Mac and Sarah were very knowledgeable about the delicate ecosystem and its' inhabitants. They are terrific hosts and we had a blast! Oh, I forgot to mention that Oakly is their 9 wk old Golden puppy and crew member in training. If you are looking for a great day on the water, look no further. The water was so clear and the ride was so smooth we had the best captain ever and he was funny, and cool it was my first time and I had a blast so want to do it again.
