i just retuned from Alaska Bridges. Airport pick up attendant has no ID and would not lend a hand with luggage. Night 1 i was placed next to a nosy elevator. Ownership and management needs to sleep in that room after a 7.5 hour flight and 4 hour time zone how Tauck can be so inconsiderate is beyond me. But Tauck did it again. On the last night at Captain Hook hotel they placed me immediately next to another noisy elevator. Food on tour was poor. It is Alaska but I expected much better given Tauck fees to me. Day 1 excursion was a 2 hour jet ski boat ride which sounds more adventurous then reality. It was a big bore down a river filled with tree and logs. The scenery was minimalistic. Long Island Sound where I live would have been preferred Several bag lunches were served with basic deli style sandwhuches and bags of potatoe chips.. No fruit . No fresh fruit. No salad, If you like potatoe or maccaroni salad count that as salad. On farwewell night a non paying couple were seated for dinner for free while my family could npt find adequate seating. I asked Kara the tour director why my family is being treated like 2nd class citizens her answer was she approved it. Quote I authorized it. Alaska is a beautiful state with lots to see. There mare many ways to experience the beauty of Alaska. I hope my review guides you to the best option. I would encourage travelers to read Taucks Mission Statement. If you travel use that Tauck statement as your guiding light to Taucks credibility. In my opinion Tauck did not deliver a premium travel tour and I feel financially abused. This is my sole opinion.
