The Courtyard in Athens is right in the middle of the University of Georgia city scene. The hotel is decorated with football and bulldog motif. At check in, we made a mistake and booked a hearing impaired room versus a mobility impaired room. The manager jumped in and had to make some adjustments to get us the room we needed. His name was Andy and he was incredibly polite and helpful. My wife was using a walker and he helped unload our car and guided us the best way to park for my wife to have the shortest most direct access. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom was large with a wheel in shower with seat. Comfortable beds and smart tv. The bistro in the lobby served up great breakfast choices and Starbucks coffee. There was a snack shop in the lobby and lots of space to hang out/watch sports in the lobby/bar area. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for work; the service at this hotel sets it apart. The desk staff to housekeeping to wait staff to the hotel manager, all friendly, helpful and very willing to make your experience better. I am a Bonvoy member and that got me free parking. Will stay here again! Great service; ideal location. Enjoy!

I was on a business trip to Athens. I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. The hotel is updated , but more importantly the staff is amazing. Ella and Elly at the front desk are rock stars! They treated me like family. Give those ladies a raise! Angela at the bar was the best. So professional and friendly. This place hires the right people. I’ll be back. Thanks Elly, Ella and Angela!!!

Elly, Nikki, and David were absolutely amazing! They were VERY helpful and very knowledgeable. Incredibly friendly and made my stay all the better!

Courtyards are normally stamped from the same mold (ask a lifetime titanium/platinum member). This one is CRUSHED during ball games but they handle it with aplomb. Plenty of parking, same facilities you're used to but these people exude Southern Hospitality. Take care of you, check you in quick. Provide as much info as YOU want (vs. the script of what they think you need). I would recommend this property.

Everything was spot on….location, cleanliness, atmosphere, and service. The staff was friendly and helpful! The room was always cleaned and never had to ask for anything.
