tripadvisorMy husband and I were the only one who booked a wine tasting tour with Cork & Barrel today, but Kimberly took us out and treated us to four wineries. We had a fabulous time- she was fun, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We thoroughly enjoy every minute!! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Willamette valley/Eugene. So glad we found them online.
MoreWe did a wine tour last week and had a great time! Beautiful locations and great wines. I had researched some other tours before booking this one and I’m glad I did! They picked us up from an out of the way location (for a reasonable fee) which was helpful as none of us wanted a DUI. The tour guide was knowledgeable and really made the day fun. Dana went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. My overall rating is a 4/5 because it took a few days to hear back from them via email. This was true both at the time of booking (months ago) and in the weeks leading up to our tour.
MoreExcellent tour. Kimberly was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We hit four wineries all of which were unique and in beautiful settings. Even though we were the only two booked for that day the tour still went ahead. We have been on tours with other companies that cancel if they don't get a minimum number of clients. I would highly recommend Cork & Barrel to anyone who's visiting the area. We are now proud owners of a wine club membership as a result of the trip, not something we usually do. Skip Napa head to Willamette, you won't regret it.
MoreKimberly took 5 of us one a wonderful tour of local wineries. She was on time, had a lot of local knowledge and was very flexible when we stayed at the wineries longer and we then removed one of the planned stops. She had great snacks and water in the van. Our whole group would definitely recommend Kimberly and Cork and Barrel. My review of the wineries follows: We started at King Estate for lunch and a tasting - bother we’re wonderful. We then went to Iris Vineyards, where we joined the club. They had a fantastic sparkling rose. Iris does, however, need to figure out its checkout process. It was not very streamlined. Our last stop was at Sarver, a small scale production but the reds were great, as was Jango, the adorable Samoid. While the wines were good at Sarver, their customer service could improve. We look forward to visiting again and using Cork and Barrel.
