I’ve always loved this hotel, but my latest experience was awful due to the extremely rude, condescending, hateful, sarcastic, and unaccommodating front desk clerk. I have never been treated like that at a hotel ever. She was one of the nastiest people I’ve ever had the displeasure interacting with, and the manager did not even care. This is an absolutely horrible way to run a business! I will not be returning to this hotel again.

I’ve always had a great experience here until this time. Breakfast was no longer included in the price (that went up) the pool and hot tub was not open and when I told the lady at the desk I didn’t see this on the website she got a little bitchy with me. I was also disappointed with not having a bathtub in my room, the shower pressure was not good. And a horrible smell in the hallway. I might expect this from a $50 or $60 hotel but I absolutely feel like I completely wasted $200.00. I will never stay here again.

We got a noise complaint for cleaning our room and then they called us and said please quiet down and we did and they came to our door and said they will call the police next time they get another noise complaint so we layed down and then the front desk guy was listening to our conversations through the peep hole. Also earlier I was swimming in their pool when me and my friends eyes started burning. My two friends eyes were fine but my vision started going blurrier and blurrier. We told the front desk guy and he said go tell your mom and we said we have already done that. So he then said well what do u want me to do about it? He was very rude to us. Later on my vision came back to normal. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I'm completely disgusted! We were going to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Topeka last night but didn't, we checked out at 1130 pm and left. My husband is an btk amputee he went downstairs (an accessible room wasn't available but it was a special occasion so we figured we would work around it) to go out the back door and smoke a cigarette. Afterwards he used his key card to come back in the light blinked green but the door wouldn't open, he repeated this 3 times. Another guest was having the same issue with that for earlier in the evening too but staff saw that guest and let them in. So when he saw the lady from the front desk that was checking us in her figured he was in luck, wrong! He knocked on the door to get her attention, pointed at the lock showed his key, she looked at him and nothing. He pointed at his leg, the door again, and she shrugged, gave a look of 'sol pal' and walked off. He had to walk around the building to get back in. He came back in and we left. When we turned in our keys one night shift person Josh asked so it's this really how you treat handicap people?! The guy said nothing. Josh threw the keys down and walked out. I apologized gave the room number explained what happened and i knew it wasn't their fault but we would be leaving tonight. The second man told me if he would have called me could have come let him in it was after 11 we are both working in the morning he didn't take his phone why was this man trying to argue that any of this was ok?! Won't even consider staying in the chain ever again. Disrespect the disabled and you're done in our book! After we got back to the house I found out that he had already explained what happened to BOT in front of and they acted as if they had NO IDEA WHY he was upset! Just because he has a prosthesis does not mean he's not still handicap. What if he got hurt walking around the building? Can we all say LAWSUIT?

They have another new general manager and he was came off as rude unprofessional and no help. Water was leaking in from the outside and their maintenance man was young gentleman who stated he was inexperienced. When I asked for a change of room the front desk said she couldn’t make a change without management approval. There is No manager on duty at all hours and the one gm on duty that is there in the morning doesn’t have time to speak with you
