Learn to dance for yourself or with a partner, from beginning to competitive level! Whether you want to learn country, swing, latin, or ballroom dancing, anyone can learn to dance and dance is for everyone!! About the instructor… Claire has been dancing since the age of six in her hometown in Canada, specializing first in ballet, then later expanding and competing in ballet, jazz, and tap. Around age 10, her family moved to California and she continued her training at several schools in the area. At the age of 17, Claire joined her first professional dance company in Sacramento called Chaotic Collective at Contemporary Dance Conservatory. Throughout her college years, Claire began teaching ballet and hip hop to kids at several local studios including Mirror Image Dance in Davis, CA and Veksler Academy of Dance and Music in Milpitas, CA. After college, she began her training in partner-dancing, specializing in all partner styles, including, but not limited to: waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha cha, rumba, swing, bolero, salsa, bachata, west coast swing, hustle, and country 2-step. Now, Claire works as a professional teacher and competitive dancer at The Ballroom of Sacramento in Sacramento, CA and soon at Mirror Image Dance in Davis, CA as well.
