TSKA is a traditional karate dojo providing the highest quality instruction in traditional Japanese karate, specifically Shotokan-Ryu, in North Texas, affiliated with the Japan Karate Association. Training is in Japanese, is of the highest standard and is equivalent to what one would experience training in Japan. We offer a free trial period for new students and transferring students from other schools/dojos. We offer transparent competitive pricing without contracts. This is not sport karate or taekwondo. There are no high-fives, fist bumps, colored uniforms, multi-colored striped belts, patches for behavior, time in rank promotions, or guarantees of a black belt. If you are training elsewhere and question whether you could defend yourself if your life depended on it you are wasting your time and money. We just train and we train for results. If you are seeking a disciplined environment where proper etiquette and respect for others is cultivated through strict attention to detail please visit us online or at the dojo. We can also communicate in Japanese for our Japanese customers.
