




Black History Saturdays is a vibrant community-based program dedicated to teaching Black history and culture in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Open to all ages—from Pre-K to adults—our program offers engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful discussions that explore the richness of Black history and its ongoing impact on the world today. Our sessions include: • Age-appropriate history lessons tailored for children, teens, and adults. • Cultural activities like storytelling, art, and music. • Access to our Banned Book Library, featuring titles often restricted in schools. • Delicious breakfast and lunch provided to participants. Founded as a response to restrictions on teaching Black history in schools, Black History Saturdays empowers families and communities to learn together, fostering a deeper understanding of history and culture.
