This is a refreshing park off the beaten track in Historic Kenwood, near Central Ave in St Pete. The children's playground with two levels of climbing g and slide elements are focused on toys and pre-school Through older kids. The area also houses kids swings and big kid swings These and the free library for kids and girls adults are under the cover of big trees that withstand the hurricanes! The park is dotted with colorful benches that invite leaving your name or small drawing. The central pavilion is on the central and can be reserved. A smaller covered area with picnic tables is near some charcoal grills that have seen better days but are very functional. No need to reserve this area. The central bulletin board posts the latest Historic Kenwood newsletterDigs and their owners seem to love this park with green areas and a wide sidewalk that circles the park. This great park in Historic Kenwood is a neighborhood park with a shaded playground climber for little ones, a larger one for toddlers and school agers with climbing and slides, and swings. One covered pavilion is open for meetings, and sometimes people do yoga there. Several picnic tables are under a pavilion or a shaded area. The bulletin board posts the monthly neighborhood newsletter with upcoming events and artist of the month. A grownups lending library and a kids lending library sit near the playground. Love the groovy multicolor park bench.Bike rack is here. NO restroom.
